Quilt for Mrs. Davis

We have known Mrs. Davis for a long time. She taught each of my three children when they were in fifth grade. Katherine knows both of her daughters...danced with one and attends college with both. Mrs. Davis has one or two cats from litters we have had. And she loves I Love Lucy and chocolate. Last year....near Spring, I think, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and is continuing to battle it with amazing strength. When I came across the Lucy fabric, I knew I had to make this quilt for her. It was finished the first week of October 2009 and given to her (along with a box of chocolate!). I am so thrilled she loved it! Machine pieced and hand quilted.
