I wanted to have a blog just to show off my quilts. They are all special to me and hopefully there will be many more to post here.

Daniel's Quilt - again

So we moved past the huge blue and white (that looks like antique ironstone) originally intended for Daniel  and this one was born. It is the same pattern as one I have made for me (and still have not quilted it) but this one is a keeper. Made from a jelly roll of blue strips and Kona Cotton white.  It is now sandwiched, basted, and ready to be hand quilted.  Pattern from the book Jelly Roll Quilts by Pam and Nicky Lintott. It was started in mid September 2010. The top was completed in December 2010.

I love chain piecing!

cute little four patches!

Quilt will have a three inch white border around it...

6/14/16 After almost six years, I finally finished this quilt. It measures 64 x 69 inches. The only thing lacking is the signature.

Machine pieced and all handquilted.

Binding stitched with invisible stitch.

Cake boxes make great display boxes for quilts.

Signature added Feb 2017. Uneven words...but done with love. <3 p="">
